DIRECTOR AND WRITER | Jacco Groen

Jacco Groen, owner of Springfilm, is writer-director and producer of many documentaries and drama productions. As writer-director he received nominations and awards at several film festivals such as Berlin, Santiago and LA. More than twenty of his human-interest documentaries were shown by Dutch broadcasters, like NPS, NCRV and Net5.

CO-WRITER | Roy Iglesias

Roy Iglesias, co-writer of the script for Lilet Never Happened, is one of the most prolific screen writers of the Philippines. Next to film and TV scripts, he writes theatre plays, publishes books and teaches mass communication at one of Manila’s universities. His work received recognition through numerous awards at festivals in Manila, New York, Toronto, Singapore and Cairo.

DOP | Danny Elsen

Danny Elsen, a Belgian camera man, is the Director of Photography. He won many international prices and prestigious nominations for his camera work with films such as ‘Loft’, ‘First Mission’, ‘Hoe Overleef Ik Mezelf’ and ‘De Oesters van Nam Kee’. Danny also put his visual signature under commercials such as those of Renault, Andrelon and Nuon.

DOP | Jan Dellaert

Jan Dellaert, studied at the Brussels filmschool RITS (BGM) where he graduated, specialized in 16/35 mm lighting and camerawork. During this period and for the 17 years following he credited as 1st AC in more than 100 commercials, 30 music videoclips, 35 feature films and 20 shorts. He credited several features as a DOP, camera operator and some as director.
